A Journey Back to Self: Coach Nay Returns to The Rainbow Bridge

Reader ,

After a long hiatus, I'm thrilled to be back to share some exciting updates and new directions for my coaching practice and podcast. Life has been a whirlwind, and I'm here to catch you up on all the changes and growth that have taken place.

Embracing a Slow September...

Since March 2024, I've been navigating the world of full-time entrepreneurship. It's been a challenging yet rewarding journey, and I'm proud to say that I've been 100% self-employed, relying on my coaching practice and other businesses (more on this later) to sustain me.

One of the most significant milestones has been the launch of my new course, "I Am Seeking Myself." This course, a labor of love that I wrote two and a half years prior to its release, aims to create a safe space for individuals like me - who grew up in the church and who may also happen to be gay. Our challenges are unique, and I wanted to provide a platform where we can explore our identities and experiences in a supportive environment.

The response to the course has been amazing. I initially designed it with black women in mind, but I was pleasantly surprised to attract a diverse group, including black gay men. This unexpected twist pushed me to expand my thinking and ensure that the course caters to the masculine energy within them as well. It's a testament to the fact that even within the LGBTQ community, there are varied experiences and needs.

Balancing my coaching practice with personal life has been a learning curve. Moving to a new city, dealing with the summer heat, and managing my physical and mental energy have been challenging. There were moments when I had to prioritize my well-being over my commitments, and it was heartening to see my course participants support my decision to take a break when needed. It reinforced the importance of self-care and honoring our bodies' needs.

As I return to the podcast, I want to bring the same energy and dedication that I've put into my coaching practice, but with more balance. This space (here with you now) is just as important to me, and I want to continue sharing my insights, personal journeys, and testimonies about seeking myself and staying anchored in my faith. Moving forward, I'll be making some changes to the format of the podcast, and I can't wait to share more details with you in the upcoming episodes - I hope you'll tune in.

If you're new here, welcome! I hope you'll stick around and join me on this journey of conscious self-leadership. For my returning listeners, thank you for your patience and unwavering support. Let's continue to Create Safe Spaces (I should trademark this, LOL), seek our most authentic selves, and uplift each other.

Stay tuned for more updates and exciting announcements. Until then, be safe and be well.
